BRIEF BIO
Wiktoria Alicja Westen is a PhD student at the University of Porto, Portugal, in the department of Economics and Management. She is following the Organisational Behaviour strand while developing research dedicated to operations management in the logistics industry inspired by her professional managerial experience at Amazon. She is particularly interested in the dimensions of gender, identity, and power within management. Wiktoria holds a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Business with International Management from Northumbria University in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, as well as First-Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Cracow University of Economics, Poland. Additionally, she was studying at University of Central Florida, USA, and TIO Business School, The Netherlands, where she was expanding her intercultural competence.
