BRIEF BIO
Sofia Castro is a mathematician interested in problems in Economics. As a mathematician she works in Dynamical Systems, mostly in continuous time and is especially interested in the complex behaviour arising from the existence of heteroclinic networks. The problems in Economics that have so far drawn her attention (very much by the welcome influence of economists) include, besides generic Economic Dynamics, Game Theory, with applications to Industrial Organisation, and New Economic Geography.
