BRIEF BIO
Natércia is the author or co-author of several scientific works, with notable publications in the Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory, and the Journal of Business and Economics Statistics. She has presented her work at various prestigious international scientific conferences, including those sponsored by The Econometric Society.
Her research interests focus on inference of matrix characteristics, dimension reduction and applications of econometrics, semi-parametric and non-parametric methods, generalized method of moments and empirical likelihood, inference of stochastic dominance, immigration and labor market inequality, economic growth modeling, and tourism demand modeling.
She has been a Researcher at the research unit of the Center for Economics and Finance of the University of Porto (cef.up) since 2009.
Currently, she is responsible for a research project funded by FCT.
