BRIEF BIO
João Correia da Silva is Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. He completed his PhD in Economics at the University of Porto in 2005. João was a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Toulouse School of Economics between September 2015 and February 2017. His field of research is Microeconomic Theory, focusing on Game Theory, Contract Theory, General Equilibrium Theory, Industrial Economics and Economic Geography. João has published in scientific journals such as Games and Economic Behavior, Economic Theory, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Journal of Economics & Management Strategy, B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy, Papers in Regional Science, Annals of Regional Science and Energy.
