BRIEF BIO
Cristina Fernandes is an associate professor with Habilitation at FEP – Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto. With a PhD in Management from the Universidade da Beira Interior, she is a researcher at CEF.UP – Center for Economics and Finance at the University of Porto and NECE – Center for Studies in Business Sciences at the University of Beira Interior. She is part of the editorial board of international journals (Management Decision, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, Review of Managerial Science), has dozens of scientific articles published in international journals on entrepreneurship, innovation, strategic management and regional development. She has participated in several funded international and national. She actively participates in scientific meetings and international conferences on these topics, either by presenting her research or as a key-note speaker, having been distinguished several times with best paper awards.
