BRIEF BIO

Clarisse, a seasoned financial professional and professor in Finance with a decade’s experience as a portfolio manager in a pension fund’s investment division, is recognized for leading the development of analysis models and creating an ESG tool for comprehensive investment analysis. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business and Management Studies at the University of Porto, she holds a Master’s in Administration and a Bachelor’s in Economics.
Her research focuses on sustainable finance, sustainability’s impact on financial performance, climate risk in risk management, impact investing, ESG measurement tools, and ESG strategy and project management in SMEs. Clarisse’s curriculum underscores a robust foundation in finance and expertise in intangibles, aligning seamlessly with the growing importance of ESG factors in responsible investment practices within pension fund contexts. In essence, her multidisciplinary background and practical experience, coupled with her role as a professor, position Clarisse as a valuable asset in evaluating ESG performance, implementing strategies, and imparting knowledge within investment portfolios, particularly in the context of project management for SMEs.
