BRIEF BIO

Catarina is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Porto (FEP) with an individual PhD Research Scholarship from FCT. Her research interests are on Sustainable Development and Growth, Demographic issues, and Climate change. Currently, the main subject of interest is the interplay between Demographic change and Automation, a research project supervised by Professor Pedro Mazeda Gil.

Her educational background is also in Economics. During the master’s, her research centered on mathematical tools for studying dynamic economic systems.
