BRIEF BIO

Carlos Cabral-Cardoso is a full professor at the Faculty of Economics. He completed his PhD in Business Administration at the University of Manchester (U.K.), in 1993, and joined the University of Porto in 2010. He was director of the doctoral programme in Business and Management Studies, from 2010 to 2018, and is currently a member (2010-present) of the Ethics Committee of the University of Porto.

He was a founding member and served as a board member of EURAM (European Academy of Management) in the period 2004-2011, and has long been affiliated with the Academy of Management, British Academy of Management, and European Group of Organization Studies. He is a regular external reviewer for several academic journals, and is currently a member of the Review Board of Gender in Management: An International Journal. He is an active participant in A3ES (Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education) accreditation panels.
