BRIEF BIO
Anna Rubinchik is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Porto, FEP, with a specialization in Economic Theory and in Neuroeconomics. The first line of research is to develop advanced tools for policy analysis in overlapping-generations models in order to analyse a pre- and post-policy reaction of an economy. The second one is to identify built-in reasons for common mistakes and biases in decision-making.
Anna is a Ph.D. graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and was a faculty member at the University of Colorado at Boulder (USA), University of Haifa (Israel), served as a Chair of the Department of Economics at the Western Galilee College (Israel) and conducted research as a visitor at L’Université Paris Dauphine and Paris I (France), Cowles Foundation at Yale University (USA), CORE (Belgium), ZEI Research Center for European Integration, Bonn (Germany) and other institutions.
The results of her research done in cooperation with various teams is published in the Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Journal of Public Economics, Frontiers in Neuroscience, Journal of Development Economics, Games and Economic Behavior, Macroeconomic Dynamics and other outlets.
