BRIEF BIO
Ana Paula Ribeiro is an Assistant Professor at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from University of Porto in 2005. She is currently a lecturer of the courses of Macroeconomics and International Monetary Economics (BSc and Doctoral Programme in Economics), and Business Cycles and Economic Growth (MSc in Economics). She conducts research on the topics of monetary and fiscal policy interactions, labour-market reforms and inequality.
She was a member in several international research teams on the assement of Labour Market Policies. Moreover, she has also an extensive experience as member of consulting teams involved in projects in the domains of economic policy analysis applied to Portugal (e.g., exchange rate agreements, structural reforms, structural funds), sectoral analysis and macroeconomic impact assessment (e.g., mobile telecommunications, digital television).
