BRIEF BIO
Ana Luísa Ferreira e Silva is currently a PhD student in Business and Management Studies (Finance) at the School of Economics and Management, University of Porto. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, also from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto, and a degree in Journalism and Sciences of Communication from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. Her master’s thesis, entitled “News coverage and extreme abnormal returns of the stocks of the PSI-20 companies”, was awarded the José Luís Sapateiro Prize by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission in 2019.
