BRIEF BIO
Ana Isabel Sá is a full-time Researcher at the CEF.UP since 2021. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a Master in Finance from the University of Porto, Portugal. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Católica Lisbon and a visiting researcher at Banco de Portugal. Her research focuses on empirical banking, credit markets, macroprudential regulation, and monetary policy.
She taught undergraduate and master’s degrees courses at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto and the Católica Porto Business School.
Before her researcher career, she worked for ten years in the banking industry, mainly in risk and regulatory offices.
