BRIEF BIO
Catarina Mendes D’Oliveira is a Doctoral Student in Business and Management Studies, branch of Operations Management at Universidade do Porto, (FEP, U.Porto). Prior to this she has obtained a MSc in Management, specializing in Service and Operations Management, at Universidade Católica Portuguesa Porto, (CPBS) (2021), a BSc in Nursing at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto (ESEP) (2019), and a Post Graduation degree in Finance and Taxation at Porto Business School (PBS) (2022). Main research interests are in Process Mining, Optimization, and Artificial Intelligence applications to Healthcare and Finance.
Professionally, she has developed her work as registered nurse from 2019 until 2021, where she focused on advanced care in end-life, and primary care patients. From 2020 until 2022 she as worked as a financial specialist in a manufacturing industry and since 2022, she works as a procurement and operations specialist at a data-driven and consulting international group.
