BRIEF BIO
Adelaide Martins is an Assistant Professor at the School of Economics and Management in the University of Porto (FEP.UP). She holds a PhD in Business Administration and a MSc in Industrial and Firm Economics in the University of Minho. She has developed a career in research and teaching in the area of accounting, and is the supervisor of PhD theses and MSc dissertations.
Her academic work has been published in journals such Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Qualitative Research in Accounting and Management, Journal of International Accounting, Auditing & Taxation, among other international journals, and she is a regular reviewer in international journals.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Accountability and impression management; sustainability and non-financial reporting; accounting and the state; accounting education; accounting in the era of big data.
