BRIEF BIO
Zheng Hou is a PhD in Economics. He has research experience in the field of Energy Economics and Environmental Economics at various research institutes across Europe, and has participated in FCT and Horizon 2020 research projects. Zheng Hou is currently a researcher at Cef.up. His research interest specifically focuses on directed technological change with an emphasis on the role of energy, and has published regarding this topic on Energy Economics. He is also developing an innovative research topic on the efficiency in wildfire suppression in Europe.
