BRIEF BIO

Carlos Brito is associate professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. He is president of the Observatory of Port Wine, vice-president of the Portuguese Management Association, board member of APCER Brazil, member of the Superior Council of Futebol Clube do Porto, member of the strategic board of Turismo do Porto e Norte, member of the advisory boards of COTEC Portugal, SEDES, INOV.ORG, APCER, Sigma and Essência Completa.

Between 2011 and 2018 he was Pro-Rector of the University of Porto for ​​Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Director of UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto. Between 2019 and 2021 he was Vice-Rector of Portucalense University for Research and Internationalisation.

Carlos Brito is graduated in Economics (University of Porto), MBA (NOVA University) and PhD in Marketing (Lancaster University, UK).
