BRIEF BIO
Rui Leite received his PhD in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto in 2018. He was awarded a research grant from the Portuguese Foundation of Science and Technology in 2019 and is now a Researcher at the Center for Economics and Finance (Cef.UP). His main research interests are macroeconomics and health economics.
In the past, he has worked as an Economist at the Office of Planning, Strategy, Evaluation and International Relations at the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, at the Portuguese Regulatory Agency for the Health Care sector, and at the Portuguese Public Finance Council.
