BRIEF BIO
Cláudia Ribeiro has a PhD in Finance from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick (United Kindgom). She is an Assistant Professor in Finance at the School of Economics and Management, University of Porto (FEP-UP) where she has lectured several courses in Finance at all degree awarding levels and is a Research member at CEF.UP. She also develops consultancy work in her area of specialisation.
Cláudia is also an invited professor and consultant at Porto Business School where she teaches on Magellan MBA and executive education and provides in-company and customised solutions.
Cláudia was Vice-Rector for Quality and Innovation at Universidade Europeia, Associate Dean at FEP-UP, Member of the Supervisory Board of BPI – Banco Português do Investimento and of BPI – Private Equity, Member of the General Council of the Porto Business School, Executive Board member of the Centro para as Ciências e Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação da Universidade do Porto (C2COM), Consultant at the Porto Derivatives Exchange (currently integrated in NYSE Euronext Lisbon) and Director of the Executive Education at Instituto de Estudos Financeiros e Fiscais (currently Atlântico Business School).
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Financial markets, elites quality, sustainable finance, alternative finance (crowdfunding, peer-to-peer lending, cryptocurrencies) and financial education/literacy.
