BRIEF BIO

Mário Graça Moura, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto (FEP), holds an MPhil in Economics as well as a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His supervisor was Professor Tony Lawson.

 

Mário Graça Moura is currently Associate Professor of Economics at FEP and an Associate of the Cambridge Social Ontology Group. He is a researcher in methodology and the history of economic thought and has published – mostly on Schumpeter, the Austrians, and Cambridge social ontology – in the Cambridge Journal of Economics (where he co-edited a special issue on ontology and the history of economic thought), the Journal of Evolutionary Economics or the European Journal of the History of Economic Thought. He has taught the history of economic thought at FEP in the last 20 years and supervised the doctoral theses in this field.

History of Economic Thought, with a special focus on Schumpeter and the Austrians; Economic Methodology; Cambridge Social Ontology.
