BRIEF BIO

Francisca Albuquerque is a PhD student in Economics, at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP-UP). She holds a Bachelor degree in Management and a Masters degree in Economics of Business and Strategy. She has spent a semester abroad via the ERASMUS program, at Kozminski University, in Warsaw, Poland. Her research interests focus on the intersection between economics of strategy, economics of innovation and regional economic development from a multidisciplinary perspective.

Currently, she is a member of the European Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH) Local Students Board, at the University of Porto. She also contributes to the activities of Work Package 4, on Lifelong Learning and Employability, and Work Package 7, on Focus Areas and External Strategy. Her contributions include policy advice to the Alliance decision-makers.
