BRIEF BIO
Filipe Rodrigues da Costa is a PhD candidate in Business and Management Studies (finance specialisation), at the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto. His research interests include behavioural finance, monetary policy and international financial markets. His doctoral thesis aims to study the connection between herding, sentiment and asset prices in European markets.
Filipe holds a bachelor degree in economics and a specialisation in finance. During the last few years he has been lecturing several courses on economics and finance at the University of Porto and the Polytechnic of Porto. He is also a regular contributor for a British investment publication. Before enrolling in academia, Filipe worked as general manager of a Portuguese computer distributor company.
