Filipa Cunha Mota is an Invited Lecturer at Católica Porto Business School since September 2017 and a consultant at Research Centre in Management and Applied Economics (CEGEA) of Católica Porto Business School since September 2019.
She is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at University of Porto. She holds a bachelor’s (2009-2012) and a master’s (2012-2014) degree in Economics from University of Porto.
Her main research focuses on the study of collusion and its impacts on consumers and the economy. The outcomes of this line of research have been presented at international conferences, such as PEJ 2018 (Lisbon, Portugal), EARIE 2018 (Athens, Greece) and EBES 2019 (Coventry, UK). One of her thesis papers has recently been accepted for publication in the Journal of Industry, Competition and Trade.
She has experience in peer review for internationally reputable journals. She has also advised master’s dissertations in the area of Industrial Organization at Católica Porto Business School.
Her consulting experience covers different areas from Industrial Economics to International Business.
